Late at night, the office was eerily quiet. The only sound was the soft hum of the air conditioning and the occasional click of a keyboard. Mark, an overworked office clerk, was the last one left, trying to finish his tasks before heading home. His eyes were heavy, and his mind was foggy from exhaustion.
A pop-up window suddenly appeared as he stared blankly at his computer screen. It read: “Would you like to know how you will die? If so, click here.”
Mark chuckled to himself. “What a weird prank,” he thought. But curiosity got the better of him, and he clicked the link. The screen went black momentarily, and then a new message appeared: “Answer the following questions truthfully to find out your fate.”
The questions started innocently: “What is your favorite color?” “Do you believe in ghosts?” But as he progressed, the questions became more unsettling: “Have you ever felt like you were being watched?” “Do you fear the dark?”
Mark’s unease grew with each question, but he couldn’t stop. He felt compelled to continue. The final question appeared: “Are you alone right now?”
He hesitated, glancing around the empty office. “Yes,” he typed and hit enter.
The screen flickered, and a chilling message appeared: “Look behind you.”
Mark’s heart pounded in his chest. He slowly turned his head, expecting to see nothing but the empty office. Instead, he saw a shadowy figure standing in the doorway, its eyes glowing in the dim light.
Panic surged through him. He tried to scream, but no sound came out. The figure moved closer, its presence suffocating. Mark’s vision blurred, and he felt a cold hand grip his shoulder.
The last thing he saw was the computer screen, displaying the final message: “He dies at the end.”
A bit scary 😟
