A group of four friends—SAM (early 20s, adventurous), LUCY (early 20s, skeptical), JAMES (early 20s, nervous), and EMMA (early 20s, curious)—enter the mansion, their flashlights cutting through the darkness.
SAM (whispering) This place is creepy. Are we sure about this?
LUCY (smirking) Come on, Sam. It’s just an old house. There’s nothing to be afraid of.
JAMES (looking around nervously) I don’t know, guys. I have a bad feeling about this.
EMMA (excited) Let’s explore! I heard there’s a hidden room somewhere in here.

INT. ABANDONED MANSION - HALLWAY - NIGHT
The friends walk down a long, dusty hallway. Their footsteps echo in the silence. Suddenly, they hear a faint whispering sound.
LUCY (stopping) Did you hear that?
SAM (nodding) Yeah, it sounded like… whispering.
JAMES (panicking) Maybe we should leave.
EMMA (determined) No way. We’re finding that hidden room.
CUT TO:
INT. ABANDONED MANSION - SECRET ROOM - NIGHT
The friends discover a hidden door behind a bookshelf. They push it open and step into a small, dark room. In the center of the room is an old, ornate mirror.
EMMA (pointing) Look at that mirror. It’s beautiful.
SAM (frowning) I don’t like this. Let’s go back.
LUCY (teasing) Scared, Sam?
JAMES (whispering) Guys, I think we should leave.
Suddenly, the door slams shut behind them. The friends turn around, startled.
EMMA (panicking) What the hell?
SAM (trying the door) It’s locked!
The mirror begins to glow, and a shadowy figure appears within it. The friends back away in fear.
LUCY (screaming) What is that?
JAMES (terrified) We need to get out of here!
The shadowy figure steps out of the mirror, its eyes glowing with a sinister light.
SHADOWY FIGURE (whispering) You shouldn’t have come here.
The friends scream and try to escape, but the figure moves closer, its presence suffocating.
SAM (desperate) What do you want?
SHADOWY FIGURE (whispering) Your souls.
The friends huddle together, their fear palpable. Suddenly, the mirror shatters, and the figure disappears. The door swings open, and the friends run out of the room, never looking back.
CUT TO:
EXT. ABANDONED MANSION - NIGHT
The friends burst out of the mansion, gasping for breath. They look back at the house, now silent and still.
LUCY (shaken) Let’s never do that again.
SAM (nodding) Agreed.
JAMES (relieved) We’re alive. That’s all that matters.
EMMA (sighing) Let’s go home.
